Understanding the Calculation

Accurate flooring measurements help you avoid costly shortages or excess material:

  1. We calculate the room's square meters (length Ă— width)
  2. We add a waste allowance percentage to account for cuts and errors
  3. The waste percentage varies by installation pattern and material type
  4. If a price is entered, we multiply total square meters by the unit cost

For irregular rooms: Divide the space into rectangles, calculate each section separately, then add the totals together.
