Sod Calculation

Sod provides instant lawn but requires quick installation:

  1. Measure total yard area in square feet
  2. Choose sod variety suited to your climate and sun exposure
  3. Calculate pallets (1 pallet = ~500 sq ft)
  4. Order 5-10% extra for odd shapes and waste

Sod Packaging Options

  • Rolls: ~2.75 sq ft each (0.26 m²)
  • Slabs: ~16 sq ft each (1.5 m²)
  • Pallets: ~450 sq ft (41.8 m²)

Important Notes

  • Water new sod daily for the first 2 weeks
  • Avoid heavy foot traffic for 3–4 weeks after installation
  • Install sod within 24 hours of delivery
  • Stagger seams like brickwork for a seamless appearance
